The multimodal transport (also named as mixed mode, combined or intermodal transport) is the most common way of cargoes delivery, based on using different types of transport one by one.
It uses when other ways to deliver the cargoes are not available or too expensive.
Customers of SeaGate Logistics are located in various of regions of the country, including Siberia and the Ural. We also deliver cargo to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan. Delivery of goods to such long distances by one mode of transport is not economically feasible. Such challenges require an integrated approach, resources and expertise.
We combine different modes of transport (maritime transport, rail transport, road transport), also our own and partner warehouses and terminals for such complex deliveries. Depending on your tasks, we will choose the optimal transportation scheme taking into account the peculiarities of the cargo.
Our company specializes in multimodal transportation. Most of our customers are in the Urals and Siberia, and we have been transporting our cargoes through our warehouse in Novorossiysk for 10 years and sending them with tilt a / m or covered railway wagons. That significantly reduces the cost of logistics.
